Michael's Black & Grey Archangel Back

I love telling stories through imagery of myths and legends!

The iconography of St. Michael the archangel slaying a serpent reaches back centuries. He’s frequently imagined as an angelic warrior, fully armed with helmet, sword, and shield.

For Michael’s back project, I embraced this depiction and imagery, taking care with each detail, from the angelic expression to the feathers of his wings.
